Joppich's Bay Street Gallery

In 1980, Edee Joppich opened Joppich's Bay Street Gallery in Northport, MI at the tip of the Leelanau Peninsula. She invited fifty of Michigan's best painters, sculptors and potters to show their work in the first gallery collection. Since then, hundreds of visitors from the United States, Europe and Asia have been impressed with the excellence of art "made in Michigan".

In 2014, the gallery will feature a collection of Edee Joppich's watercolors and mixed media collage paintings. Visitors can watch Edee working on new paintings right in the gallery!

In 2015, an invited group of outstanding painters, potters and sculptors will celebrate the gallery's 35th anniversary with a beautiful exhibit of their works.

The season opens on the first day of summer and closes the day after Labor Day. Call for gallery hours: 231-386-7428

The gallery is located in Northport, a charming village, 27 miles north of Traverse City on the Leelenau Peninsula, one block north of the Marina entrance and across from the Visitors Center
